This past week of school I realized what it means to persevere. The math emoji project that we worked on was not very difficult but when our project finally got critiqued, most people said it was copied or not original. This made me upset because I was the artist and I thought that I put in a lot of effort into my first draft and I had no idea that other groups would have the same idea. This made me persevere because no matter how many times someone said something negative about our project, we tried our best to modify it in the best way.
The mistake that I made during this project was not thinking if anyone else might have the same idea. I should have come up with multiple ideas in case this were to happen or I think that I could have come up with something more creative and unique. I believe that I learned after I made this mistake because in the future I now know that I need to come up with an idea that isn't common and that everyone would probably think of. I grew from this mistake because I now know that making multiple drafts of something can come in handy in case you need more ideas.
